Bristol Bespoke Boxes Limited is the new venture launched in 2022 to complement the services already offered by Folio Print Finishing Limited, one of the UK’s largest print finishing businesses. Many types of businesses, however, need boxes unique to their specific needs, often in smaller quantities and with a shorter turnaround time that can be an option ‘‘off-the-shelf’’.

SLOTTED BOX A

BB0201 Slotted-type boxes are made from a single sheet with a glued manufacturer’s joint. They are shipped flat, ready to use and require closing using the flaps provided.

FOLDER-TYPE BOXES A

BB0409 Folder-type boxes and trays usually consist of only one piece of board. The bottom hinged to form two or all side walls and the cover. Locking tabs, handles, display panels etc., can be incorporated into some designs.

BB0300 Telescope-type boxes consist of more than one piece and are designed to have the lid telescoping over the body of the box.

Whilst there are a multiplicity of shipping boxes and other packing products on the market, most of these are only available in a range of predetermined sizes. At least one of the dimensions will invariably be at odds with a client’s needs and quite often there’s nothing at all that is close to what is required. Bristol Bespoke Boxes however can make exactly the box you need and are also able to do this for short-run orders that just wouldn’t be be an option from other suppliers.

With over 40 years experience in designing state-of-the-art box-making kit, the new Kolbus Autobox AB 300 provides Bristol Bespoke Boxes with a truly comprehensive platform for manufacturing a wide variety of box types and formats entirely unique to each client’s own needs. Now, clients will be able to specify their own boxes from a range of stock boards and even remove glue tabs, detail extra creases or create windows in their finished product.

There’s nothing complicated about glueing manufactured boxes. However, in the absence of dedicated plant designed to seamlessly complement the box-making process, orders could be slower to complete than is acceptable. Bristol Bespoke Boxes’ Kolbus Pro-Gluer unit introduces far greater efficiency into the process and is exceptionally productive when running at its highest speed settings.
